Our Purpose
The Object of this Fraternity shall be for the development of the best and truest fraternal spirit; the mutual welfare and brotherhood of musical students; the advancement of music in America and a loyalty to the Alma Mater.
Excellence
We have been leading by example nationally for over 100 years and over 60 years at Indiana State University. The Gamma Omega Chapter of Phi Mu Alpha was founded on October 5th, 1947. Since then we have introduced decades of men into this beautiful fraternity.
Jazz Fest
The Gamma Omega Chapter has been putting on the Indiana State Jazz Festival for 41 years. Every year our chapter works along side with Indiana State University School of Music to run a Jazz Festival. We have schools from all over the state come to compete at this event. The Indiana State Jazz Festival for this year is on February 22nd, 2014.
